So much...

Without my camera phone, I haven't been very inspired to write. So I finally arranged to get a new phone. It's awesome - the v635i from Motorola, megapixel camera and video! I can just imagine how much trouble I'm going to get into with this...

Some pictures that you have missed over the past few weeks....

* Lunch with austronauts (no, i'm not high, i was with them for a meeting about NEEMO - go ahead and google it).

* Sexy breakfast (don't even ask)

* i'm sure there's more, but i can't think of what else happened and i have to get to work ...

fear and loathing in hudson

Well, everyone survived the annual Sail 'n Golf this year. An event replete with copious amounts of alcohol, food, fun and 'what happens on the boat, stays on the boat'.

Actually, this is the first year that anyone can recall it ever having rained, which certainly put a damper on the usual post-golf 5 a 7 flotilla. Unfortunately, no pictures of people huddled unsucessfully under umbrellas on all the Tanzer 22s. My most memorable picture, other than the insanity of our floating boat of debauchery professionally covered in a perfect tarp(aulin), is most certainly the 'chinese junket ship' aka a Tanzer 22 covered entirely with a sail. I really must fix my camera...

Other than that, events unfolded as they do every year: the flotilla coming down the channel, everyone getting stuck in the shallows! (except us, we seemed to have learned our lesson this year!), us winning the race home, scotch-water (exactly what i needed - not). And last but not least, a cryptic reminder for myself of how i continue to provide and enable quasi illegal fun. Ah the joys ... :)

duhn duhn da da duhn da da duhn duhn duhn

Off to Philly...

The land of cream cheese, the philly cheese steak (may contain cheese).

UPDATE: now that i've been there, Philly is aka "the city of brotherly love", "the home of independance", the first flag manufacturer...

But that's not where I ended up. I went to a place just north of baltimore called hunts valley.

Unfortuntaly, no pics on this trip as my v600 sucks and the camera has bit the biscuit.

The Car Whisperer

Just when you thought it was safe to .... drive in your bluetooth enabled car.

It's been proven how easy it is to eavesdrop on someone's conversation while in the car. Or perhaps you would like to speak to them yourself? Why not tell the driver in front of you that he's driving like an asshole...

The day my car starts speaking to me is the day I drive it off a cliff.
